BHS, JBA & EA MSc Studentship Award Scheme 2017

 

The British Hydrological Society, JBA Trust and Environment Agency are delighted to announce that the MSc Studentship Award Scheme will be open for applications again in 2017.  Now in its seventh year, the award scheme supports talented students wishing to pursue development of their academic experience and qualifications in hydrology and catchment management.  Graduates of MSc courses play a vital part in the future management of the water environment. 

Announcement of Opportunity: Hydrology-based PhD's at University of Birmingham

The Physical Geography research group at the University of Birmingham (http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/activity/water/index.aspx) is advertising a number of NERC-funded PhD projects in the CENTA DTP. Projects range from meteorology to hydrology to geomorphology to ecology. 

Applications close on 23rd January 2017.  

UK Aquaculture Initiative: Networks call

 

Once established, the Networks will foster collaborative activities between academic researchers and business representatives at all career stages to identify and develop new approaches to tackle major research challenges and help deliver key benefits to the UK Aquaculture sector. The Networks will be interdisciplinary, working across the boundaries of biological and environmental science. The participation of other disciplines including engineering, economics, social science, remote sensing and computational modelling is strongly encouraged.
