Smart collaboration transforming the management of water networks
Together WRc, United Utilities, South West Water and the University of Manchester, with support from the Technology Strategy Board, are utilising distributed computing architecture to deliver true proactive water network management, with dynamic up to date models and scenarios run and decisions made in minutes, rather than hours or days.
The Water Security Knowledge Exchange Portal supports the objectives of the UK Water Partnership - a collaboration between the water industry, policy and research communities. It provides guidance and co-ordination for water research and innovation in the UK.
